This is the Daikin/Exedy 'Xtreme' performance clutch assembly. It fits the 16V lightened flywheel beautifully. I am a little concerned by the warning information on the friction disc packaging though.'... Pressure plate can explode unexpectedly causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants or bystanders. Clutch cover and bell housing will not protect from exploding pressure plate.' Maybe they should have called it the Daikin 'Xploding' performance clutch!

We installed the clutch master cylinder onto the pedal box, and it all seems to fit nicely. Neil Barker, our mate with the Monaro, reckons he can do a flexible hose for the clutch no problems. I was going to run bundy tube, but a flexible hose sounds like a better solution. Unfortunately, this is the master cylinder before we dropped the engine in, crushing the resevoir in the process. Ah well, back to Budget Auto Spares.
